Bedlington Terrier

The Bedlington Terrier breed originates from England. This small dog breed has a shoulder height of around 16 inches. The Bedlington Terrier's coat consist of short curly hairs which resembles that of a sheep. The Bedlington Terrier is an intelligent and playful dog breed which rarely barks. Bedlington Terrier's gets along very well with children. It will need to be socialized with other household pets to interact well with them. Like other terrier's, Bedlington Terrier's, particularly the males, can be very defensive if threatened.

The Bedlington Terrier's coat needs to be brushed regularly, and should be professionally groomed annually. The Bedlington Terrier should be trained sternly as it may prove to be stubborn. This dog loves to run and jump, allow it as much time to do this as possible.
